The Prairie Bluff Landfill is owned and operated by Waste Management. The contractor responsible for the construction of the final cover system at the facility retained Globex to tune the existing gas wells and troubleshoot the utility flare at the facility.

Globex has extensive experience in the management of gas wells, including tuning of gas fields and operation of flares.  Globex tuned the gas field and assisted the contractor to address problems at the futility flare. Globex also coordinated with the flare manufacturer to provide technical specifications with parts that were needed for the flare. Globex assisted the contractor to upgrade the flare for satisfactory operation.
