The Sun Country Materials Management (SCMM) facility is a construction and demolition (C&D) debris disposal area located in Hillsborough County, Florida. Globex has performed numerous projects at the SCMM facility since 2000. A list of general projects performed by Globex at the SCMM facility since 2000 is presented below:

Geotechnical and Hydrogeological Investigations
Performing geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations for lateral and vertical expansion of C&D disposal area.

Compliance Monitoring – Water Quality
Semiannual ground water monitoring, including coordination of sampling and laboratory analysis, evaluation of data, and reporting; preparation and submittal of Biennial Technical Water Quality Monitoring Report; preparation and submittal of Contamination Assessment Plan; implementation of contamination assessment activities including monitoring well installation, geoprobe investigation, soil investigation, and sensitive receptor study; agency interaction and preparation and submittal of Contamination Assessment Report; and preparation of response to comments for Hillsborough County Environmental Protection Department regarding water quality and wetland issues.

Design and Permitting – C&D Disposal Area
Design and preparation of a permit application for a 120 acre lateral expansion of the existing C&D disposal area; design and preparation of a permit application for modifications to the final cover drainage system; and design and preparation of a permit application for renewal of the operation permit.

Design and Permitting – Surface Water Management
Certification of facility storm water structures with the Southwest Florida Water Management District; preparation and submittal of Surface Water Discharge Reports; design and permitting of a conceptual surface water management system for the lateral expansion of the existing C&D disposal area; and design and permitting of Phase I of the surface water management system for the lateral expansion of the existing C&D disposal area.

Construction Related Activities
Preparation of Construction Drawings for closure projects; provision of CQA and final certification during construction of closure projects.

Annual Reporting – C&D Disposal Area
Preparation and submittal of Annual Cost Estimate Updates; preparation of Air Space Evaluations; and preparation and submittal of Annual Reports.
